The final All Centre release of the year comes from London-based artist Slick, who makes his first appearance on the label following releases with Boxed, Kenyon Sound and French Tabloïd. The producer delivers three explorative grime instrumentals infusing sounds from across the UK bass continuum and beyond.

Endless eases us in with crushed ambience and rapturous bassweight before rolling hats lock us into an enthralling 140bpm groove. Lush, overlapping vocals envelope the listener whilst an ethereal melody spirals amongst the track’s determined percussion.

A melancholic, haunting synth line introduces title track Mistakes, which develops into a complex and melodic instrumental embellished with precisely programmed hats, snares and FX. Cinematic synths, grimey zaps and a choral melody intertwine at the cornerstone of the EP.

Launch provides a staggering close to the record. The track opens with tense ambience which unsettles and stutters amongst explorative sound design. Booming sub-bass kicks usher in the track’s off-kilter and intoxicating groove, hurling forward with stuttering claps and urgent strings.

Mistakes is available across all digital platforms from the 8th December.
